Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2025

Look, we get it - nobody actually reads these things. But we're gonna be straight with you about how we handle your info.

We're not here to sell your data or spam you with nonsense. Your privacy matters because trust matters. Here's everything you need to know about what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

When you sign up or work with us, we'll grab the basics:

  • Personal details - name, email, phone number, address. Pretty standard stuff.
  • Health info - any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations we should know about. We're not doctors, but we need to keep you safe during training.
  • Payment data - credit card info, billing address. We use secure processors, so we don't actually store your full card details.
  • Training history - progress notes, attendance records, program preferences. Helps us track your gains.
  • Website usage - cookies, IP address, browser type. Standard web stuff that helps us improve the site.

We don't collect anything we don't need. No weird third-party tracking nonsense.

We use your information to actually run the gym and provide services:

  • Manage your membership - process payments, schedule sessions, track attendance.
  • Personalize your training - design programs based on your goals, track progress, adjust as needed.
  • Communicate with you - class schedules, program updates, occasional promotions. You can opt out anytime.
  • Keep the facility safe - emergency contacts, waivers, health considerations.
  • Improve our services - figure out what's working and what isn't.
  • Legal compliance - taxes, liability coverage, all that fun business stuff.

That's it. We're not selling your email to supplement companies or sharing your workout data with advertisers.

We keep your info locked down, but there are a few necessary exceptions:

  • Payment processors - Stripe, Square, whatever we're using to handle transactions securely.
  • Email services - to send you program info and updates. We use reputable providers.
  • Legal requirements - if the law says we gotta share something, we gotta comply.
  • Emergency situations - if you're injured and we need to contact someone or provide medical info.
  • Business transfers - if we ever sold the gym (not planning on it), your membership would transfer too.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.

Yeah, we use cookies. Not the delicious kind, unfortunately.

  • Essential cookies - keep you logged in, remember your cart, basic website functionality.
  • Analytics cookies - help us understand how people use the site so we can make it better.
  • Performance cookies - load times, error tracking, technical optimization.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features might not work properly. We don't use invasive ad-tracking pixels or anything creepy like that.

We take security seriously. Here's what we do:

  • Encrypted connections - SSL/TLS for all data transmission.
  • Secure storage - your data's stored on protected servers with regular backups.
  • Access controls - only authorized staff can access member information, and only when necessary.
  • Regular updates - we keep our systems patched and current.
  • Payment security - we're PCI compliant, meaning we follow strict standards for handling payment info.

No system's 100% bulletproof, but we're doing everything reasonable to protect your information.

Under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA), you've got rights:

  • Access your data - request a copy of what we have on file.
  • Correct inaccuracies - update your info anytime.
  • Delete your data - we'll remove your information when you cancel membership, except what we're legally required to keep.
  • Opt out of marketing - unsubscribe from promotional emails whenever you want.
  • Withdraw consent - change your mind about how we use your info (within legal limits).
  • File a complaint - if you think we've mishandled your data, contact the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To exercise any of these rights, just shoot us an email or talk to us in person. We'll sort it out.

We don't keep your data forever:

  • Active members - we keep your full profile and training history as long as you're with us.
  • After cancellation - most data gets deleted within 30 days.
  • Financial records - kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes (legal requirement).
  • Legal holds - if there's an ongoing dispute or claim, we'll keep relevant data until it's resolved.

Once we don't need your info anymore, we securely delete it.

Sometimes we'll link to other websites - supplement stores, fitness resources, partner programs, whatever. Once you click those links, you're on their turf and their privacy policies apply.

We try to only link to legit sites, but we can't control what they do with your data. Check their privacy policies before sharing personal info.

We might update this policy occasionally - new services, legal changes, better practices, whatever comes up.

When we make significant changes, we'll post the updated policy here and send you an email. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.

If you keep using our services after we update the policy, that means you're cool with the changes.
